Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash has appeared in an account-visible Gemini API listing. Our discovery tracker flagged it at 16:00 today, and we shared the finding on X shortly afterwards. 1

This is the Omni line, which Google uses for video generation and conversational video editing. Its public model page currently names gemini-omni-1.1-flash, so the 1.2 label is a step beyond what is documented there. 2

Our guess is that Google is getting another Omni update ready for a wider rollout. The numbering suggests a follow-up to 1.1, but it does not tell us how much has changed underneath.

The alert’s wording is “account-visible listing”. It is an early sign of preparation; Google’s public API release notes still have no 1.2 launch entry. 3
